1.4 A Business Site not just a website
A Website is a group of pages on the Internet
An Internet Business (iBusiness) Site
provides valuable information and/or solves a problem.
A Business is purpose designed to earn a profit
for the owners through the provision of
goods and/or services to its customers.
(Penguin Macquarie Dictionary of Economics & Finance)
An iBusiness Site can be a hobby site, a community, or it can be a business site.
An iBusiness Site does NOT have to be elaborate or elegant
An iBusiness Site should be informative, solve a problem and be accessible.
A wage is financial reward for work performed - end of story!
Profit on the other hand is what is left over after costs are deducted.
"iBusinessSites turn passions into profit" (Warren Holland)
"Showing a profit means touching something and
leaving it better than you found it." (jimrohn.com)
"Profits are better than wages. Wages make you a living;
profits allow you to live."(Warren Holland)
